Later, Gordon admits to Holly he got rid of the plants himself. 17-year-old Dean has a hot date with the 23-year-old Gillian. Gordon sentences Marty to hard labour for his dope experiment.

Edwina is frustrated at not being able to find time to be alone with Zac. Dean and Gillian bail on their lunch at a posh restaurant in favour of an intimate dinner at her place that evening. Edwina gives Frannie a short-lived attention-grabbing makeover. Zac gives his father permission to end the birthday traditions that were started by his mother. Frannie admits she was wrong and decides to go back to school.
