Marty offers to give Dean one of his old assignments in exchange for an introduction to Belinda. Daniel funds an equipment purchase for the hospital. Gordon feels betrayed as Edwina admits to lying about having sex with Zac.

Edwina decides not to tell Zac about her lie to Gordon. Daniel raises objections but relents when Gordon hires Shelley to work at the garden centre until she can begin her nursing studies. Trish agrees to let Neville come home to recuperate when he's released from hospital. Gordon lets Edwina go out to a dance club with Zac so long as she takes Shelley. Zac invites Dave to keep Shelley occupied only for Edwina to invite Frannie hoping to get her and Dave together.
